Vidya Balan at Apsara Film & Television Producers Guild Awards Press Conference

Vidya Balan unveiled the trophy ‘Apsara’ to be presented to the winners at Film & Television Producers Guild Awards. Nominations for the Film and Television Producers Guild awards were announced with last year’s hits like ‘Chak De India’, ‘Jab We Met’ and ‘Guru’ vying for the top film category.
The awards divided into two groups – popular and technical categories – will be given at a ceremony on March 30.
Shah Rukh Khan (Chak De), Shahid Kapur (Jab we Met), Amitabh Bachchan (Cheeni Kum) and his son Abhishek (Guru) are competing for the best actor’s award while his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai (Guru), Kareena Kapoor (Jab We Met) and Shilpa Shetty (Life in a Metro) are in contention for best actress.
