Bollywood: The Most Happening place in 2008 !

While talking about the year 2008, bollywood seem to be the most happening place. Although there were many instances which were delightful, shocking and glorious, but here I am discussing 5 things which were in talks all through the year.
Starting with the romances and love. In this category the Saif-Kareena pair and Ranbir-Deepika pair lead the whole year.Starting with Saif-Kareena pair well that all started last year, so for this year nothing was new. The new came out in the form of Ranbir-Deepika pair.

1. Romance and Love
The relationship between the star kids of a badminton player and a Bollywood romantic has taken center stage. Both seen to have rocked all through the year in magazine covers and newspapers.Deepika and Ranbir were seen together in Bachna Ae Haseeno. This young couple seemed the toast of Bollywood. Beautiful, successful, ambitious—it only seemed natural for the brand new stars to pair up. Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor dated for a year, but now reports claim that the couple has split. Both Padukone and Kapoor are yet to give statements to the press about their break-up.

2. Electric Music by A.R. Rahman
Now coming into the world of music, this year was all rocking for musician A.R. Rahman. He gave us a slew of electric soundtracks in Ghajini, Yuvvraaj, Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na and Jodhaa Akbar. Also man picked up a Golden Globe nod for his phenomenal score in Danny Boyle’s Bombay-lovin’ Slumdog Millionaire.

3. Big B hot new Entrant in Blogging World
Another move, a new celebrity blogger added in the blogging community, it was our Big B (Amitabh Bachchan), Big B created sensation writing in his official blog, giving critics and suggestions. He rocked the blogging world as a celebrity.

 
4. New theme introduced, Dostana a movie about gay relationship
A new theme was introduced, Dostana, the movie that pretended to like gay people. Karan Johar almost took mainstream Hindi cinema out of the closet. With every gay character expressing his views in the movie, a overall well move by Karan. Karan took an entirely new move and shown the new trend growing up in the society of gay relationships. It was great courage shown by Karan along with the starcast of Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra.

5. Ghajini Hair cut
With the year end all their were major movies being released back to back, first was the Shahrukh starrer Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, now today on 25 December Aamir Khan’s most awaited movie Ghajini is released. As far as trend setting is concerned Ghajini  was hyped way before its release with trend of ‘Ghajini cut’, its the haircut of Aamir Khan in the movie.
