Billu Barber another Shahrukh Flick ready to release

Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie Billu Barber is also a comedy, but with a different trend. The movie is about two friends, one poor and the other rich. The poor chap Billu, played by Irrfan Khan, is a barber in a village and the other one the rich fellow Sahil Khan, played by Shahrukh Khan, is a superstar in cine world. The movie is produced by Shahrukh Khan himself and directed by Priyadarshan under the banner of Red Chillies entertainment.

A filmmaking unit starring Shah Rukh Khan visits Billu’s village for shooting. Billu tells the villagers that the thespian was his friend in his childhood.At once his status in the village boosts up. Everybody urges him to meet the superstar, but he is not sure if the actor would recognize him. He makes many attempts to meet the star but fails. After many hard attempts, he gives up. The villages now believes that he lied about the relationship with the star and starts insulting him. His family and children also gets upset and badmouth him. In a twist towards the end, the true extent of the friendship Billu and the superstar is revealed. Billu’s wife is played by sensational actress Lara Dutta.
The movie also also features Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani in supporting roles with guest appearances by actresses Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif. The movie is set to be release in February 2009.
